A program for leadership teams

CEO Playbook

A program to build strategic capability for CEOs and leadership teams.

CEO Playbook helps leaders read the market, make coherent strategic choices and lead their teams in one direction. Weraki teaches it in-house for each company, on that company’s own problems (see corporate training).

Three common distortions in strategic decisions

  • Strategy mixed up with short-term actionThe business grows by reacting, rather than by a structured logic.
  • Markets moving faster than planningMacro forces, competition and customer behavior keep shifting, and traditional planning loses its grip.
  • No thinking frameworks or challenge processChoices depend on personal experience, making it hard to give the team a consistent direction.

From the strategic picture to an execution system

Three layers in Weraki’s method, moving from understanding the game to turning choices into quarterly work.

  1. 01Strategic pictureWhere to playUnderstand the nature of the game: market forces, competitors, customers and internal capabilities, to choose the right arena for the next stage.
  2. 02Winning logicHow to winMake clear what the company wins with and why customers choose it, then set the growth pillars for the next 3–5 years.
  3. 03The Strategic Decoding MapFrom choice to executionTest, filter out noise and prioritize before deciding; then turn strategy into goals, initiatives, metrics and a phased roadmap.

Weraki used the Strategic Decoding Map in its partnership with a Legal Tech AI venture.

Three stages

  1. 01Forming strategic thinkingMove from reacting to situations to structured thinking: see the business as a system, spot opportunities and risks early, and decide on principles rather than personal experience.
  2. 02Method and skillsMaster analyzing, challenging and choosing strategy through a set of diagnostic questions; turn the vision into strategic pillars and a prioritized portfolio of initiatives.
  3. 03Leading the teamBuild a shared strategic language with the team and a system of goals, initiatives and measures; shift from central operator to directional leader.

Who it is for

  • The builderCEOs, chairs and foundersLeading the business through growth, restructuring or expansion; needing a 3–5-year strategy, less dependence on the founder and a team that can take over.
  • The orchestratorCOOs, CMOs, heads of sales, operations and HRWanting to make independent decisions rather than only execute; moving from a “task list” mindset to “growth logic”; connecting departments with a shared language.
  • The strategic partnerKey people chosen by the CEOChallenging strategy, helping the CEO filter noise before deciding, and turning strategy into orderly action.

Not the right fit if you

  • Are looking for tips, tools or checklists for a short-term problem.
  • Aren’t responsible for the company’s strategic decisions.
  • Don’t yet have time for deep thinking, or aren’t ready to challenge your own views.

Formats and fees

Content and method are the same in both formats. The difference is how deeply we work on the company’s own problems.

In-house for your company200 million dongfor the whole program, VAT included
  • The CEO or founder plus up to 3 key people.
  • Working directly with your team, with detailed challenge on your own problems.
  • Goes deepest into the company’s own problems.
Small peer group60 million dongper CEO, VAT included
  • One CEO learns alongside up to 3 CEOs or founders from other companies.
  • Cross-challenge widens strategic perspective.
  • The method is applied to each participant’s real cases.

In both formats

  • 5–8 sessions of 3 hours (14:00–17:00 on weekdays), depending on pace and case discussion.
  • A mix of real cases, situation analysis and strategic challenge.
  • Before: we learn the business context, assess strategic maturity and agree confidentiality.
  • After: 1–2 follow-up sessions and 12 months of support, with tools and diagnostic questions.

The program doesn’t promise results in a few weeks. What the leadership team gains is a reusable way to analyze and make strategic decisions.

How is it different from CEO OS? CEO OS is a two-day program for building the company’s operating system. CEO Playbook goes deeper into the leadership team’s strategic capability, over several sessions, taught in-house for each company.
